space needle
The iconic Space Needle is a 605-ft.-tall spire at the Seattle Center, with an observation deck & a rotating restaurant. It is one of the most photographed structures in the world. Got that info off the internet.
Seattle Center
Seattle Center is home to a collection of over 30 cultural, educational and entertainment organizations located in the heart of Seattle. Spanning an area of 74 acres, it was originally built for the 1962 World’s Fair. Check out events for May or just go to take pics of the International Fountain. The Food Court located in the Armory Food & Event Hall is one of the most known venues of the campus as home to 15 different food vendors and the location of the Seattle Center Monorail platform. Our favorite is Seattle Fudge, yum.

Mo POP – EMP
Museum Of Pop Culture is not your grandparent’s museum. Well if you grandparents were rockers maybe it is. More than a music museum there is a SciFi-Horror Gallery and a Fantasy Gallery full of items from some of your favorites.
pike place market
While there check out the Pike Place Fish Market, the famous open-air fish market at Pike Place Market in Seattle. Founded in 1930, it is known for its tradition of fishmongers throwing the fish purchased by customers prior to wrapping it. Pike Place Fish Market is a world-famous tourist destination, attracting up to 10,000 daily visitors. The Pike Place Market is also home to lots of other shops with everything imaginable from art, clothing, flowers, and all kinds of food to enjoy.

The Museum of Flight is the largest independent, non-profit air and space museum in the world. With over 175 aircraft and spacecraft, tens of thousands of artifacts, millions of rare photographs, dozens of exhibits and experiences and a world-class library, the Museum and its people bring mankind’s incredible history of flight to life.

Located 22 miles north of Seattle, Woodinville is where wine lovers from around the globe gather to taste Washington’s legends and discover new favorites. Woodinville and the surrounding areas have a wonderful variety of not just wineries, there are breweries, distilleries and some really great food.
mount rainier park
One of the most visited national parks, Mount Rainier is the most prominent peak in the Cascade Range. It’s also one of the oldest national parks. Discover subalpine wildflower meadows, lush ancient rainforests, thundering waterfalls and the unmistakable domed summit of a glaciated volcano. Yes Mt. Rainier is an active volcano that last erupted approximately 150 years ago and is part of the Ring Of Fire, however, no worries apparently there would be plenty of signs if she plans to blow.
Snoqualmie Falls & Salish Lodge
The Pacific Northwest is known for its natural beauty, and Snoqualmie Falls is the area’s crown jewel. Admire the mesmerizing display of power and peacefulness at this 268-foot waterfall — one of Washington State’s most popular attractions. Mount St. Helens is an active stratovolcano located 98 miles south of Seattle where 42 years ago the major eruption of May 18, 1980 took place. You can now drive into the heart of the blast zone. Incredible crater views, visitor centers, picnic areas and hikes await.

Chihuly Glass Garden
Chihuly Garden and Glass is an exhibit in the Seattle Center directly next to the Space Needle, showcasing the studio glass of Dale Chihuly.

Seattle Great Wheel
At an overall height of 175 feet, it was the tallest Ferris Wheel on the West Coast of the United States when it opened in June 2012. Built in 2012, the 175 foot tall, 170,000 pound Ferris wheel sits on Seattle’s waterfront over the Puget Sound on Pier 57 near the Pike Place Market and Seattle Aquarium. It carries 42 enclosed, heated and air conditioned gondolas holding up to 8 people each. As passengers are lifted into the air, they can see the a fantastic view of the city, sound and mountains while listening to a narration describing Seattle’s waterfront history.
